He is a full Professor at College of Applied Medical Sciences, University of Hail, KSA.  He is accomplished and innovative scientific professional with solid scientific knowledge, technical and managerial skills.  He is also a team leader and active researcher in developing food co-products as novel pharmaceutical excipients, functional and physicochemical properties of cereals proteins and starches; and he had keen interest in the impact of diet on health. He has authored more than 55 peer reviewed publications, and many books and book chapters. He is a reviewer and member of editorial board of many reputable Journals.
